The short answer

On October 12, 2026, SpaceXAI launched The X Subscription, which combines Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium in one plan. Prices are Free, Plus at $8, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 a month, with usage of 4x, 15x and 50x Plus on the top three. Existing SuperGrok, Cursor and X Premium subscribers can keep their plans or switch for a prorated refund.

On October 12, 2026, SpaceXAI announced The X Subscription, a single plan that brings together Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium. It replaces a patchwork of separate subscriptions with five tiers, a shared usage pool and one price ladder. This report explains what the plans cost, what each includes, what happens to current subscribers and the catch for anyone who uses Cursor with Claude or GPT models. It uses SpaceXAI’s launch post, its pricing page and Cursor’s pricing page. SpaceXAI’s own site also uses the name SpaceXSI, and the company behind Grok is the same.

The plans at a glance

PlanPrice (US, per month)What’s includedUsage
Free$0Daily access to Grok, a starter allowance for Cursor’s coding agents, standard XLimited
Plus$8More AI usage in Grok and Cursor, plus a checkmark, creator tools and fewer ads on X; Grok models onlyBase

Super$100Everything in Premium plus priority model access at peak times15x Plus
Ultra$200Everything above, with the earliest access to products and models50x Plus

Prices exclude taxes. SpaceXAI says Premium bundles the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium+, which were previously $90 a month combined, and that each comparable new tier gives more usage per dollar than the plan it replaces. Each X Subscription plan includes at least twice as much coding usage with SpaceXAI’s models as the comparable Cursor plan.

What the bundle contains

  • Grok covers chat, voice, and image and video generation. Our Grok review looks at the app itself.
  • Grok Bot gives you AI teammates that get work done. It starts on Premium in this plan.
  • Cursor provides local and cloud coding agents; see our Cursor review.
  • X adds a checkmark, creator tools and fewer ads, and higher tiers remove ads from the timeline entirely on most surfaces.

How usage works

Every tier includes a pool of AI usage shared across Grok and Cursor, and the pool covers Grok Chat, Imagine, Voice and Bot. Allowances refresh weekly, so one heavy day doesn’t wipe out a month. If you reach your included usage you can buy top-ups or wait for the refresh, and your remaining usage shows in settings. Paid plans include Grok API access, but API usage is billed separately at standard rates and does not draw from the plan’s pool.

The catch: third-party models cost extra

The plans include generous usage of Grok models but no allowance for third-party models. In Cursor you can still pick models from other labs on Premium and above, but they are billed at API list prices through top-ups, with optional spending caps. Plus is Grok-only. If you use Cursor mainly with Claude or GPT models, the bundle won’t cover that usage, so compare it with your current bill before switching. What happens to current subscribers

SpaceXAI says nothing changes for existing SuperGrok, Cursor or X Premium subscribers, who can keep their current plan, price and features. It is also rolling out an option to switch, which appears in your account billing settings when it is available to your account. Switching comes with a prorated refund on the old plan and limited-time offers. Subscriptions are sold only directly through X Subscription Corp, with no resellers.

Teams and Enterprise

Team users get Premium, Super and Ultra at the same per-seat prices as individual plans, and Cursor’s page lists Teams from $30 a user. SpaceXAI says that is priced lower per seat than older Cursor Teams and now includes 3x more coding usage, plus SSO, admin controls, consolidated billing, usage analytics and SOC 2 compliance. Enterprise customers manage Grok and Cursor from one dashboard with a single pool across both.

Which plan should you choose?

SpaceXAI recommends Premium for new AI users, Super for daily agent users, and Ultra for power users, with Plus for social creators who use AI lightly. For comparison, the ChatGPT Pro tiers run from $100 to $500, Google AI Pro is $19.99 and Claude Pro is $20. See also Grok vs ChatGPT and the Grok profile.
