Privacy Policy
Last updated
We collect as little personal data as we can. This policy explains what we process when you visit universaldigitalassistant.com or subscribe to our newsletter, and the choices you have.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example from a search engine) and general information about their device, browser and approximate location.
Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies: _ga, which distinguishes visitors, and
_ga_NKN9F5TJW6, which keeps track of the current visit. By default
they expire after two years. According to Google, Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses from visitors
in the EU, Switzerland or the UK. We don't send your name or email address to Google Analytics.
You can delete or block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also keeps aggregate traffic statistics that don't use cookies.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request headers. When you submit the newsletter form we also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the request comes from a person, and we store a temporary, IP-based counter for up to ten minutes to limit repeated sign-up attempts.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we send your email address to our email service provider so it can deliver the newsletter. We use your address only to send the newsletter you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Links to other websites
Our pages mention vendors and other websites, and assistant profiles link to each product's official website. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date of the latest version above.
